How to Activate Incognito Mode on Chrome in PC, Android?

A great thing about Google Chrome is that it allows you to browse the internet without leaving any traces on your computer. Incognito mode enables you to browse the internet privately, although it doesn’t’ mean you’ll be hidden completely.

Note: Your activity might still be visible to:

  • Websites you visit
  • Your company, employer or school
  • Your internet service provider

The thing you need to understand is that the incognito mode is not a tool that provides you full anonymity. Your browsing history won’t be recorded, but it doesn’t mean that your employer won’t be able to find it out after speaking to the internet service provider.

How to Open Chrome in Incognito Mode on PC?

Opening incognito mode on PC is probably much easier than you’ve imagined. In order to open the Incognito Mode, all you got to do is press CTRL + Shift + N on your keyboard after opening Google Chrome.

There’s another way, which is that you click the option called “customize and control Google Chrome”. If you don’t know what this is, it’s the three little dots in the top-right corner of the browser. Doing this will open a drop-down menu, where you need to choose “New incognito window”.

As you can see, using the incognito mode is pretty straightforward. However, if you happen to run into some issues, feel free to contact Chrome Australia.
